April 1

Well, March is a bit of a blur as usual. We had 3 big events in 4 weeks between birthday parties and Emily's First Communion. We still have Evan's left to go! Somehow our after school schedule has become busier but is flowing very nicely since the New Year. It helps that I am off work now at 3.00 so I can do after school pick up and I still have a chance to get someone to something at that point...it's not as rushed. We will have to make some decisions in the next couple years activity-wise. As the kids' activities get more competitive and require more time we will have to start limiting what they do. There needs to be time for homework too!!

There hasn't been much going on with Ehren and I. Ehren is very busy at work right now with review period coming up. He is putting in some extra hours...no surprise. We have just had a change of manager at my work. I will experience the new "set up" next week when I go to work. All should run smoothly as our new "boss" worked alongside us at one point...she knows how we all work!

We are planning Evan's birthday in April and then Ian will also be baptized in April. I have been asked to be a godparent and am honored to be able to fill those shoes. My Mom and Dad will arrive back from Mexico right before the baptism so they will be able to come as well. Emily is keen on what goes on in church since her First Communion, so she is excited for the baptism as well. We are very proud of her and all the hard work she put into attending classes. It was a big commitment! March was a month of celebration!

March 1 update

Well, we're not sure where February went. It's a short month as it is then we went on vacation! From what I recall we had a pretty "quiet" month, no company, etc. We got into a routine with gym, violin, swimming, work, etc. We had parent teacher interviews (read more on the girls' blogs) and managed to get out skiing a couple times.
We did head to Puerto Vallarta around the third week of the month for a short time. We celebrated Mom's birthday with her (and her twin Uncle Dennis). It was a monumental 60th so there was quite a big bash at the Casa Sterling. While we were in Puerto Vallarta we managed to sneak in some golf, lots of beach and pool time, found a friend Spike the Iguana, and took on a boat/day tour. It was very relaxing and we had a great time visiting with Mom and Dad (and saw a few other relatives too of course).
March is now here and it's birthday season for our kids!
