Well, Happy New Year to everyone! It was a very busy month of December for us. We started with more than one Christmas Party. So exciting, lots of fun, and the kids even saw Santa a couple times...3 actually...now I never saw him that much when I was little! :-) We got some good pictures of them with Santa and it seemed that none of them were "Santa shy" this year. It's so much fun to see them get excited about seeing him, as well as the anticipation of Christmas.
We had a fair amount of snow in December so between keeping the driveway clear and getting ready for Christmas...it's kept us tied up! We haven't even been out on the slopes yet. Ugh!
The third weekend in December we flew to Shellbrook where we had Christmas with Ehren's side of the family this year. It was a great time and the first time to see a couple of the brothers in a couple years. We caught up with some old friends, and some of Janelle's family while we were there as well. It was a great Christmas and the kids had a blast. We got back on Sunday and Janelle worked Monday...so it was a fairly quiet New Year's Eve. We celebrated New Year's Day with Deana and Jay. We've got a copule weeks to recuperate, then we head to Puerto Vallarta! Janelle leaves on the 16th with the kids and Ehren will join a few days later. You'll find out how it all went next month!
