Well, we had a lot go on in April! We managed to get through Jaelynn and Evan's birthday parties...and we had a wonderful visit from the Gramma's! Ehren's Mom and Gramma came to visit...drove down for a week and spent Easter with us. We had a great visit with them and they managed to take in a lot of activities with us. We had a great Easter with them and had our first fondue at the house for Easter dinner (had a big Easter ham at a friends house for lunch that day too).
Their visit flew by and we had a week to get things "turned around" and then my parents flew in to town on their return to Canada from Mexico. Ehren and I had a couple days here after they arrived then we took off to Vegas for three days while Mom and Dad babysat the kids for us. We had a great time...it had been 6 or 7 years since we'd last been there and boy, a lot has changed!! We stayed at The Mirage which was newly renovated, and took in a Cirque du Soleil show as well as had a nice evening out at a steakhouse. We did a lot of walking and bought our very first real piece of art. It was a great time and very over due!
We made it back to get back into the swing of things!
One last very exciting piece of news...we will be an aunt and uncle again! Ehren's brother Nathan and his fiance Kiran are expecting a baby in November!! Yay!! Congrats guys!
